The GB/T 10105-88 Ship’s Guide Roller (with Stand) is a marine deck fitting designed to guide mooring ropes smoothly and safely during vessel mooring and towing operations.

The specially shaped roller provides a smooth contact surface for the rope and allows the rope direction to change while minimizing friction, abrasion and excessive bending.

Manufactured according to GB/T 10105-88, the guide roller is available in several sizes with roller diameters from 150 mm to 450 mm. Different models can accommodate steel wire ropes, hemp ropes and synthetic fiber ropes.

In addition to individual guide rollers, Boomarine can supply open-type two-roller and three-roller fairlead configurations for applications requiring multi-point rope guidance.

Key Features

1. Smooth Rope Guidance

The curved roller surface lets mooring ropes move smoothly as they change direction, reducing friction and localized wear.

2. Heavy-Duty Construction

Robust marine-grade steel construction provides reliable performance under demanding mooring and towing conditions.

3. Suitable for Different Rope Types

Available for use with steel wire rope, hemp rope and synthetic fiber rope, depending on roller size and project requirements.

4. Wide Size Range

Roller diameters from 150 mm to 450 mm accommodate different vessel sizes and mooring arrangements.

5. Reduced Rope Wear

The rotating roller minimizes sliding friction between the rope and fixed deck structures, helping extend rope service life.

6. Marine Corrosion Protection

Marine-grade coatings provide protection against seawater, salt spray and humid marine environments.

Available Configurations
