Description

UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) marine fender sliding panels are engineered to provide a low-friction and wear-resistant contact surface for wharf fender systems. Installed on the front face of steel fender panels, these sliding pads allow vessels to move smoothly along the berth during docking, significantly reducing hull damage and extending the service life of rubber fenders.

Unlike traditional steel or rubber surfaces, UHMWPE provides a self-lubricating surface that enables vessel hulls to glide smoothly along the fender face, significantly reducing shear forces during mooring. Manufactured from premium virgin polyethylene with a molecular weight exceeding 4.5 million, our panels are designed to withstand the massive impact of large vessels while resisting the corrosive effects of saltwater, ozone, and extreme temperatures.
